· Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance
AFBIS, Inc. offers health and prescription coverage to employees and their families. Employees can choose from two Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plans – a $750 deductible plan or an HSA-eligible $1,500 deductible plan. AFBIS, Inc. pays most of the cost for individual coverage and a large portion of the cost for family coverage. AFBIS, Inc. also offers dental coverage from Delta Dental PPO and vision coverage from VSP.
· Retirement Benefits
AFBIS, Inc. employees can take advantage of both a company-funded cash balance retirement plan and a 401(k) plan. The 401(k) plan is available through Fidelity. The company matches employee contributions to the 401(k) dollar for dollar up to $3,000 per plan year. Matching funds are vested immediately.
· Continuing Education
AFBIS, Inc. pays 100% of the cost of approved seminars, classes, and certification/designation program fees for employees. AFBIS, Inc. reimburses up to $600 per credit hour for degree programs which is provided upon completion of the degree program.
· Flexible Spending Accounts
Pre-tax flexible spending accounts are available for health, dependent care, parking, and public transportation. For employees that participate in the $1,500 deductible health insurance plan, we also offer a Health Savings Accounts (HSA), along with an annual employer contribution.
· Paid Time Off
Vacation starts at 15 days per year. AFBIS, Inc. also provides 13 paid holidays per year (which includes 4 floating holidays). During the summer, employees can reallocate their working hours and take every other Friday off.
· Sick Time & Disability Benefits
15 days of leave for a Qualified Sick Leave Event are credited to each new employee. After that, paid sick leave is accrued at the rate of one day per full calendar month of employment. Salary continuation for a short-term disability is paid at 100% of salary, while long-term disability coverage is provided at 60% of salary.
· Parental Leave
AFBIS, Inc. offers generous leave policies for new parents, including 12 weeks of paid maternity leave and two weeks of paid paternity leave following the birth of a child, and eight weeks of paid parental leave following the adoption of a child or placement of a foster child.
